  This Irish whisky is from a non-disclosed distiller, thus the mystique of the whisky enchants us to dream where on the Emerald Isle this distilled gold might have originated. What we do know of the dram is that it rocks your runners at 58.7%abv. Let me tell you, at such a high proof it dances quite a jig on the tongue. There is no color added and no chill filtration. I thought it was perfect for our summer foggy chill
  
  It has notes of brown sugar, porridge, chocolate bars, marmalade, skittles, orchard fruit, and floral fields. On the palate it is rich and fruity. The barley comes through midpalate with a creamy mouth feel. The apricot, scone, and apple fritter notes I experienced remind me of my mom’s fresh baked pastries cooling on the windowsill of our kitchen. A drop of water plays well with a finish that is velvety and spicy.
  
  We also know that this is a limited bottling of only 260. While it’s scarce, please don't forget to share and we can always get more whisky.
