Lochlea Small Batch, an IMPEX Exclusive is only available in the USA. ImpEx Beverages had selected 3 casks which were married together to create a truly unique Lochlea expression. This whisky was first filled into Refill Bourbon Barrels, then double matured in American Oak STR Casks. A combination never seen from our distillery and never to be repeated – this limited edition is a beautiful snapshot in time in the progressive journey of Lochlea.
On the nose, fresh cantaloupe melon, rich Manuka honey. The palate has subtle nutmeg spice, white pepper while finishing with warm malted bread and butter.
